Annual Valentine's Day Dinner, February 6
The ladies of Glenn Memorial Baptist Church wish to say "thank you" to the men of GMBC for our wonderful Valentine's Day Dinner, February 6, 2018! The food you prepared (and served) to us was delicious and the evening was such a treat!. We all enjoyed the fun and fellowship!
New Bible Study Begins!
Please join us for another exciting Bible Study beginning September 4, 2018. We will be using a 6-week study by Ravi Zacharias entitled "Jesus Among Secular Gods: The Questions of Culture and the Invitation of Christ." Come learn how only the truth of Jesus Christ can answer the deepest questions about life....questions that atheism, hedonism, scientism, relativism, and other "isms" of today's culture cannot answer. We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm (6:00 at Denae's home on the 4th) and repeat the lesson again on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am in the church fellowship hall. All are welcome to attend either session!
New Pastor Installed!
March 5,2017 became an important date in the life of Glenn Memorial Baptist Church as our new Pastor, Rev. Jim Schwerdtfeger, was formally installed to lead our congregation. Rev. Amy Holtz of Richmond gave a message of "Beautiful Feet." Following the worship service, we enjoyed good food and fellowship at a luncheon to "officially" welcome Pastor Jim, his wife, Becky, and their family. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to work through Pastor Jim and our church.
Thank you to all who made our Christmas program a
